The celebration will begin with a parade at 10 a.m. on Sixth Street, from Merrill Street to Rimpau Avenue. Check out the dancers, marching units, low-riders, antique cars, and school children of all ages.

After the parade, head over to the fiesta taking place at Corona City Park. The fiesta will feature an assortment of Mexican food, along with other ethnic foods served by local non-profit groups and businesses. Entertainment will consist of Bands and Mariachi groups, Folklorico Dancers, and Latin Salsa.

The children will be well entertained at the Children’s Fun Zone as they play and jump around in fun bouncers, ride the ponies, and play at the game booths.

About the Cinco de Mayo Parade

The Cinco De Mayo celebration is more than just a parade. The parade and fiesta signify the finishing touch of the Corona Cinco de Mayo Scholarship Committee's efforts to award scholarships. In 2018, with the community’s assistance, the scholarship organization was very fortunate to award $10,000 in scholarships to seniors of the Corona-Norco Unified School District. Since 1994, the scholarship organization has awarded over $260,000 in scholarship funds. “Muchas gracias” to all the volunteers who dedicate their personal time to this annual celebration and to the sponsors for their continual support.
