Another memorable night at Bedford gathered neighbors to kick off the holiday season the way we do best: together. Festive touches and plenty of cheer set the tone for an evening that reminded us why life at Bedford is about so much more than where you live.

Festive Sips & Sweet Treats
A lineup of seasonal drinks and treats kept the celebration flowing all night long. Residents gathered for coffee and hot chocolate, while the bar served up the evening’s standout signature drink—the Snowflake Espresso Martini. Plates of festive Christmas cookies were always within reach, making spirits bright one sweet treat at a time.

Sleigh All the Way
Who says it has to snow in South Corona to create a winter wonderland? We brought the snow to Bedford, giving kids a chance to make snow angels, throw snowballs and enjoy a flurry of fun. And of course, Santa was on hand for photos and warm hugs. Horse-drawn carriage rides wrapped it all up, sleighing the night into full-on holiday magic.
The snow may melt, but the good vibes sure don’t. Moments like these are part of what make life at Bedford so awesome, especially during the holidays.
From our community to yours, we wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.

A Dream Before Halloween 2025There’s always a spark of magic at Bedford but this year’s fifth annual Dream Before Halloween event proved that a little science (and maybe a dash of madness) can take things to a whole new level. Hudson House was transformed into The Lab, where Professor Bones and his crew of curious creatures invited more than 400 residents to step inside their world of experiments, elixirs and eerie delights.
From bubbling brews to glow-in-the-dark wonders, every corner of the night captured a bit of spooky fun. Guests mixed and mingled with the Lab’s “unusual subjects,” sampled “after-dinner” bites and tested their nerve in the first-ever Flash Costume Contest, where quick thinking and bold looks were rewarded in style.

Experiments in Enjoyment
Libations flowed freely whether you were sipping IPA, indulging in vino or keeping it real with a juice box. And the evening’s signature cocktail? Smok’n, spicy and just the right amount of sweet — an elixir worthy of the Lab itself.

Family, Fun & Frights (the Friendly Kind)
The littlest Bedfordians had their fun too, with glowing activities and curious surprises designed just for them. Between tunes, treats and all those Insta-worthy moments, this was a night no one wanted to end.

The Art of the Glow
Back for its third year, the Pumpkin Glow Art Exhibit once again lit up the night. Bedford’s talented residents carved, sculpted and imagined wildly creative jack-o-lanterns, joined by special guest artist Alan Silva, whose larger-than-life creations left everyone amazed.

A full-time sculptor and muralist based in Corona, Alan Silva has lent his talents to red carpet premieres like Jurassic World Rebirth, Barbie and Superman and even brought Bedford’s own “BOOTS” the Duck to life at Dos Lagos. He’s also behind the hand-painted Harper Park Little Library and can often be found photographing our community events when he’s in town. Come fall, Alan trades paintbrushes for carving tools as a nationally touring pumpkin artist and instructor. A semi-finalist on Food Network’s Outrageous Pumpkins (Season 3), he’ll also be carving it up with his team Two Ghouls and a Butcher on Halloween Wars Season 14. Be sure to tune in and follow his incredible work at @TheArtsyLefty.

Five years in and the Dream Before Halloween magic just keeps growing stronger. Here’s to another year of connection, creativity and community, Bedford style.
